Why I will support Tinubu – Rev. Dr. Sam Ogedengbe

The Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to former Governor Babatunde Fashola, Rev. Dr. Sam Ogedengbe, has spoken about why he would support the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2023 general election.

Ogedengbe, the national president of All Christian Leaders and Ministers’ Forum (ACLMF), who is also the general overseer of Overcomers Pentecostal Prayer Ministry, made the declaration yesterday at the end of the monthly prayer session organised to pray for the nation at the headquarters of the church in Abule-Egba, Lagos.

He said he and the late Dr. Lanre Obembe had been Asiwaju Tinubu’s pastor since 1999 and automatically became one of the officiating pastors when he established a Christian chapel at the Lagos House, Marina,

alongside Pastor Enoch Adeboye and other clerics.

Ogedengbe said: “Although the APC standard-bearer is a Muslim, for the past 15 years, he has never failed to present Christmas gifts to me and other Christian leaders in Lagos State and other parts of the country.

“Senator Oluremi Tinubu is a wonderful sister and supporter of our ministry.”

He said no matter the situation, he and his followers would never deny Tinubu, asserting that “we will vote for him.”
