Wike names new FCTA Head of Service after Grace Adayilo’s death

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has approved the appointment of Mrs. Nancy Sabanti Nathan as the Acting Head of Service of the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA).

Her appointment, announced on Tuesday, follows the death of the immediate past Head of Service, Mrs. Grace Adayilo, who passed away last week.

According to a statement signed by Lere Olayinka, Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media to the FCT Minister, Nathan will serve in an acting capacity pending the appointment of a substantive Head of Service.

Until her elevation, Mrs. Nathan was the Permanent Secretary in charge of the Youth Development Secretariat of the FCTA. She had earlier served as Director of Finance and Administration in the Office of the Honourable Minister of the FCT before her posting as Permanent Secretary.

“The appointment takes immediate effect,” the statement added.
