Woman arrested in Katsina with military wears, loaded magazines, multiple phones

 

A woman has been arrested in Malumfashi, Katsina State, in possession of loaded magazines and military gear hidden in her bag.

This was disclosed in a post by a security analyst Zagazola Makama via his verified handle on X.

According to the report, the woman was nabbed around 1am in Monday at a routine security checkpoint while attempting to leave the town.

A search of her belongings reportedly revealed three loaded magazines, a military uniform, tactical trousers, a combat jacket, multiple mobile phones, and other security-related items.

The discovery raised concerns about possible links to terror logistics networks.

Sources said the suspect is currently in custody and undergoing interrogation.

Investigators are working to determine her affiliations and whether she is part of a broader network involved in supplying arms and equipment to terrorist groups operating in the region.

The authorities are yet to release her full identity.

In a video interview shared by C-Watch, a community-based security outfit that assisted in the arrest, the woman appeared visibly shaken as she was questioned about the contents of her bag.
