Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has ordered workers in the state from grade level 14 and below to continue to work from home for another two weeks.
The governor approved a further extension of the work-from-home order to all state public servants to Monday, February 1 to curb the spread of the second wave of COVID-19.
Head of Service, Mr Hakeem Muri-Okunola, said in a statement that the directive excluded orkers on essential duty as well as first responders.
The statement urged all public servants to stay safe and continue to observe all COVID-19 safety protocols, such as physical distancing, use of face masks, regular washing of hands with soap and running water and use of hand sanitisers.
It said the weekly duty rosters should be maintained for effective service delivery by agencies of the state government.
