Youths attack Fulani settlement, accuse residents of aiding bandits
A group of irate youths on Thursday attacked a Fulani settlement in Kemenji Village, Kaiama Local Government Area of Kwara State, accusing its inhabitants of colluding with bandits in the kidnapping and killing of locals.
According to a report by counter-insurgency expert, Zagozola Makama, intelligence Sources revealed that the youths, led by one I. Bature, stormed the Fulani camp and set a number of huts ablaze before fleeing the scene.
Upon receiving the report, The Nigerian Army troops in collaboration with the police answered other security agencies swiftly stormed the area to prevent further escalation.

The security team succeeded in restoring normalcy, while efforts are said to be ongoing to apprehend the ringleader and other suspects who are currently at large.
Security agencies assured that the situation is under control and warned against taking the law into one’s hands, reiterating the commitment of security agencies to safeguarding lives and property in the area.
