Zack Orji’s condition stable as First Lady visits him in hospital
Ace Nollywood actor Zack Orji is in stable condition at the National Hospital Abuja where he was rushed to after he slumped in his house toilet weekend.
This came as First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, visited the ailing actor in the hospital along with wife of the Vice President, Hajia Nana Shettima; Minister of Women Affairs and Social Development, Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye; wife of Minister for Works, Mrs Rachael Umahi; and wife of Minister of State for Defence, Mrs. Bello Matawalle, among others.
Though the details of the First Lady’s visit to the veteran actor were not immediately known, it was gathered that she was with the actor for about 13 minutes.
It was learnt that the actor’s health had improved since getting to the hospital, following the intervention of Kennedy-Ohanenye at ensuring that he got the best medical attention the national hospital could offer.
“He has started talking. He is in stable condition. His wife is by his side. We really thank God for him,” the National Hospital Public Relations Officer (PRO) Tayo Hastrup said.
Orji was conveyed to the National Hospital at the weekend after he reportedly slumped.
