Zulum Approves Direct Payment of Local Government Allocations to Boost Transparency
Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum has approved the direct payment of local government allocations to council authorities, a strategic move aimed at strengthening financial transparency, accountability, and efficiency in local governance.
Governor Zulum explained that the policy ensures funds intended for local governments are accessed directly by council authorities, reducing bureaucratic delays and minimizing the risk of misappropriation.
