15-Year-Old Girl Murdered While Running Errands in Gombe

A 15-year-old girl was brutally murdered while running errands in Kwami Local Government Area, Gombe State, and her body was discovered mutilated, the police have confirmed, in a case that has shocked the community.

According to DSP Buhari Abdullahi, the spokesperson for the Gombe State Police Command, the teenager went missing while performing routine tasks for her family. Her body was later found in a remote area, showing signs of severe physical assault and mutilation, prompting investigators to launch a thorough murder investigation.

DSP Abdullahi stated that forensic teams are collecting evidence to identify the perpetrators. “We are leaving no stone unturned to bring the killers to justice,” he said, appealing to the public to provide any information that could aid the investigation.
