22-yr-old lady commits suic!de hours after her boyfriend’s death in Adamawa

Florence Vandi, a 22-year-old lady, committed suicide by consuming a deadly chemical.

Florence, late An Indigent of Michika LGA, who lived in Viniklang in the Girei Local Government Area, took her own life while protesting the death of her boyfriend.

The dead took the tragic decision a few hours after the death of her partner, Nuhu Boniface, who died after a brief illness while seeking treatment at the Hospital, according to the state police command’s spokeswoman, SP Suleiman Nguroje.

According to Nguroje, the investigation also found that Florence worked as a Health Worker at Girei Primary Health Care Centre until her death.

He stated that the state Commissioner of Police, CP Afolabi Babatola, expressed regret over the occurrence and asked members of the public to avoid taking the law into their own hands and to report any suspicious activity in their neighborhood to the police.
