Popular influencer Sarah Idaji Ojone, widely known as Saida Boj, has been banned from major social media platforms including TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram.

This ban comes in the wake of a viral video featuring her controversial statements about men and relationships.

Appearing on the Honest Bunch Podcast, Saida Boj asserted that a man should transfer N500,000 to her within 24 hours of the ‘talking stage.’ She justified this demand by claiming that her beauty warranted compensation. When confronted about the implications of her comments, she further stated that a man who gives her N20 million could “enter anywhere in her body.”

Her remarks quickly sparked widespread backlash and drew criticism from various celebrities, including Erigga and Dat Warri Girl, as well as numerous netizens. Critics slammed her for promoting materialism and unrealistic relationship expectations.

In response to the intense backlash, Saida Boj’s social media accounts were banned. However, she quickly resurfaced with a new video through another Facebook account, where she defiantly addressed her critics. She expressed indifference to the bans, stating she was accustomed to being removed from platforms, and urged her detractors to focus their energy on their businesses rather than reporting her accounts.

“You’re happy that my social media accounts got deleted. I wish you can put the same energy you use in reporting my account to make money. I’m back, and I am here to stay,” Saida Boj said in her new video.

Despite the bans, Saida Boj remains resolute and continues to engage with her audience through alternative means, maintaining her controversial stance and presence online.

ICYMI: Lady who admits having sexual relations with dogs faked death- Actress Abiola Adebayo

A Nollywood actress and podcaster, Abiola Adebayo has revealed that a young lady who reportedly killed herself after admitting on a podcast to engaging in sexual activities with her dogs as a result of addiction stemming from past trauma faked her death.

Adebayo said the lady, identified as Adenike Adewodun, faked her death in an attempt to escape the public backlash and legal consequences of her actions.

The actress made this known in a statement she released on her Instagram page on Thursday, titled “Miss Adenike Adewodun’s ‘Fake Death Antics”.

She wrote, “The case of Miss Adenike, while tragic, is a learning curve for us. She sent a message and was asked to come and we offered to get her therapy and all but she freaked out and in a very devilish and ungodly manner faked her death.

“After the fake death news, we tried to locate her house to properly express our deepest condolences but it was difficult to even pen a condolence letter and the presenter and producer Abiola Adebayo was both emotionally and mentally

disturbed for days.”

The actress explained that while mourning her death, she and her crew noticed some inconsistencies in the stories of her death and investigation revealed that she was alive.

“In the course of properly mourning her, we noticed some discrepancies in what her so-called ‘sister’ was telling us and what her friend was saying because we felt something was amiss.

“We dispatched the director of the show on a fact-finding mission who spoke with the friend before he traced the hospital where she was supposed to have been treated and we were told there and then that she didn’t die,” she said.

Following the discovery, Abiola said the Nigeria Police Force was petitioned, adding that Adewodun and her friend who announced her death were arrested.

Upon interrogation, Adewodun confessed to faking her death due to the backlash she received from the public after the podcast.

“A petition was written by our attorney to the police to complain about the situation and promptly, the police investigated and arrested both Nike and her friend.

“The Police were also set to prosecute, and upon interrogation, Nike, who admitted that she was the one who approached Biola for the interview said she freaked out because people recognised her and said she felt that if she lied that she was dead Biola would remove the video.

“Police asked her if she reached out to Biola to remove the video at any point, and she said no. Her mother, who was there at the station, corroborated the story,” the statement added.

In June, Adebayo revealed the news that the woman had taken her own life.

While her emotions betrayed her, Adebayo said, “For the first time in my life, I feel like a failure. Nike died. The lady I just interviewed who said she slept with dogs committed suicide. People heard her story. They abused me. They said we formulated the story that they were not real. I gave her a listening ear, but she didn’t tell me she was going to die.”

Davido: Sophia Momodu files 102-paragraph affidavit in child’s custody suit

Sophia Momodu has filed her defence in a lawsuit insisted by a Nigerian musician, Davido, whose real name is David Adeleke over custody of their daughter, Aurora Imade Adeleke.

We had earlier reported that the case was initiated by Davido who wanted the joint custody of Imade.

The legal action, filed on April 17, 2024, and bearing the suit number LD/1587PMC/2024, names Davido as the applicant and Sophia Momodu as the respondent, marking the beginning of a legal battle over the child’s custody

Davido, through his legal action, is seeking a court order granting him joint custody of his daughter, Imade, and unrestricted access to her.

While acknowledging that his relationship with Sophia Momodu, Imade’s mother, ended several years ago, Davido emphasised that he had consistently fulfilled his financial responsibilities towards their child’s well-being, demonstrating his commitment to Imade’s care and support.

By seeking joint custody and unfettered access, Davido aimed to ensure a continued active role in his daughter’s life.

Davido also alleged that Momodu demanded he pay the nanny she hired a monthly salary of $800, equivalent to $19,600 annually, which he deemed excessive.

Despite his efforts to provide for their daughter’s well-being, Davido claimed that Momodu has consistently treated him with cruelty and caused him significant emotional pain.

In light of these circumstances, Davido is seeking a court order granting him joint custody of their daughter, Imade Adeleke, to ensure a more collaborative and harmonious approach to her care and upbringing.

SaharaReporters learnt further that Sophia Momodu, in her response to the singer’s case, filed a 102 paragraphs of counter affidavit via her legal team Dr Anthony Idigbe SAN of Punuka Attorneys and Dr Bimpe Ajegbomogun.

The next hearing is slated for Friday, 5th of July, 2024.
