Alhaji Suleiman Abdulwahab appointed new Balogun Ajikobi of Ilorin

 

In a significant development for the Ilorin Emirate, the Emir of Ilorin, His Royal Highness Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, has officially announced the appointment of Alhaji Suleiman Omokayode Abdulwahab as the new Balogun Ajikobi of Ilorin.

This is contained in a statement signed by Dr Abdulraheem Muritala, a personal assistant to the Emir of Ilorin

The appointment marks a new chapter for Alhaji Suleiman, who has been widely respected for his service as the District Head of Ipaye. Known for his dedication and leadership, he will continue to manage the affairs of the Ipaye district in an interim capacity until a new head is named.

The Emir, in his announcement, offered heartfelt prayers for the success of Alhaji Suleiman in his new role.

He wished him a long life, good health, and divine wisdom to carry out the responsibilities of both positions with excellence and integrity.

The title of Balogun Ajikobi holds deep historical and cultural significance within the Ilorin Emirate, and Alhaji Suleiman’s elevation has been received with great joy across the community.
