Aregbesola no longer our member, says Osun APC
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State has reported the former Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, for various anti-party activities to the party’s National Executive Committee.
This was disclosed by the party’s Secretary, Kamorudeen Alao, following a stakeholders meeting at the party secretariat in Osogbo.
Alao stated that Aregbesola’s actions indicate he is no longer aligned with the party in the state. However, due to his prominent status, his case must be addressed at the national level.

“Aregbesola’s anti-party activities are disrupting the party’s operations in Osun. Therefore, we reported him to maintain order,” Alao explained. “As far as we are concerned in Osun APC, Aregbesola is no longer a member of the party in the state. We have informed the National Secretariat three times about the distractions he is causing, and it is up to the national leadership to take appropriate action given his national prominence. I believe the national leadership will act on our report soon.”
During the meeting, State Chairman Tajudeen Lawal read a communique urging party members to avoid any membership registration initiated by unauthorized groups. He announced that the party would launch its own membership registration next week, following the directive from the national secretariat.
