Arsenal Held to Goalless Draw by Nottingham Forest but Keep Premier League Lead

Arsenal were held to a 0-0 draw by Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on Sunday, maintaining their position at the top of the Premier League table but dropping vital points in the title race. The result allows Manchester City and Newcastle United to narrow the gap as the season enters a crucial phase.

Despite dominating possession and creating several chances, Arsenal failed to break through a resilient Nottingham Forest defense. The Gunners were denied by a combination of excellent goalkeeping from Forest keeper Dean Henderson and defensive discipline, leaving the match scoreless at full-time.

“We controlled much of the game and created opportunities, but we couldn’t find the back of the net. We must focus on our next fixtures and continue pushing for victories,” said Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta after the match.
