BREAKING: Osinbajo breaks silence on Tinubu’s victory at PEPC
Former Nigeria’s Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, on Saturday, on Saturday hailed the Wednesday’s victory of President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Election Petition Court.
It was reported in some media that some public affairs analysts had insinuated that Osinbajo was probably not happy with the PEPC verdict following the statement credited to his aide, Laolu Akande, which faulted the refusal of the Independent National Electoral Commission to transmit the 2023 presidential election results electronically.
But Osinbajo, who contested All Progressives Congress presidential primaries with Tinubu, alongside others, also congratulated Vice President Kashim Shettima on the ruling of the PEPC that dismissed the petitions of Peoples Democratic Party’s Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi of Labour Party.
