BUK Alumni, Ilorin Emirate chapter welcomes the judgement on Hafsoh Lawal’s killer

The Bayero University Kano Alumni Association, Ilorin Emirate Chapter has welcomed the death sentence handed down to Abdulrahman Idi-isin , stressing that it was a victory over evil.

In a statement issued on Friday by the Alumni and signed by the President, Alhaji Abdulrasheed Aliyu , the group described the judgement as timely and appropriate adding that it will nip such heinous crime in the bud in our community.

Part of the statement read, “As a group when the incident happened earlier in the year, we condemned the barbaric and unjust killing of Hafsoh Lawal and sought quick justice for her .This is humanity; we can’t do anything less than to support the community to ensure speedy dispensation of justice. We appeal to the Executive Governor of Kwara state, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq to sign the death warrant of Abdulrahman Idi-isin once all the processes have been concluded.
It is the easiest means to terminate such heinous crime in our community.

The Group thanked all the stakeholders who have been monitoring the case in solidarity against evil in our community.
