Dangote Refinery reduces ex-depot petrol price to ₦820

 

Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a slash in the ex-depot price of petrol, by ₦30 from ₦850 to ₦820 per litre.

A statement signed by the Refinery’s Chief Branding and Communications Officer, Anthony Chiejina, who announced the gantry price reduction in a statement, said the change took effect from Tuesday, August 12, 2025.

According to the statement, the move was part of the Refinery’s unwavering commitment to national development, assuring the public of a consistent and uninterrupted supply of petroleum products.

“In line with our dedication to operational excellence and sustainable energy solutions, Dangote Petroleum Refinery will commence the phased deployment of 4,000 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)-powered trucks for fuel distribution across Nigeria, effective August 15, 2025,” the statement added.
