Decomposed bodies of missing police officers recovered in Delta forest
A joint team of security personnel and local vigilantes discovered the decaying bodies of missing police officers purportedly slaughtered by herders in Delta state.
The incident occurred during a search and rescue operation for three missing police officers in the Ohoror hamlet, Ughelli North Local Government Area, in the state.
The missing cops had responded to Moses Progress’s distress call on January 24, 2024, when he was attacked by herders while performing a traditional sacrifice to the river gods beneath a bridge in the Ohoror village. The police officers disappeared after receiving a distress call.
