El-Rufai: I don’t pretend; being Nollywood actor in politics not for me
Former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has described himself as a straightforward politician, stating that he does not engage in pretense.
El-Rufai made the remark while responding to a comment from an X user, @irahabib, who suggested that no politician would want him in their cabinet unless they were genuinely committed to national development.
The user wrote: “The day I read El-Rufai’s book titled Accidental Public Servant, I concluded that no politician would want @elrufai in their cabinet unless they genuinely intend to develop this country. He doesn’t know how to pretend.”

Recently, the former governor has been vocal in his criticism of President Bola Tinubu’s administration and the All Progressives Congress (APC).
