#EndSARS Report: Don’t take Lai Mohammed seriously — Aisha Yesufu

Activist, Aisha Yesufu, has reacted to the comment made by the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, about the Lagos State EndSARS panel report.

On Tuesday, Mohammed held a press conference where he ridiculed the panel report, saying it is filled with discrepancies.

In a video she shared on her Instagram page on Wednesday morning, Yesufu said she felt reluctant to react to the Minister’s comments because she feels he isn’t to be taken seriously.

According to her, Mohammed should only be taken seriously in comedy skits.

She said: “I don’t understand.

“I should respond to Lai Mohammed or the statement that he made about the EndSARS panel findings?

“How would you be talking about Lai Mohammed?

“Who is Lai Mohammed?

“You don’t talk about serious things and bring in Lai Mohammed.

“For what?

“If it is comedy skit, yes is available but on serious issues….

“What do you expect from him?

“If he had said anything different, you would surprised now.

“I don’t have energy to waste on non issues.”
