Fire guts Yinka Ayefele’s radio station again in Ibadan

A late-night fire on Friday gutted the Ibadan studio of Fresh FM, the radio station owned by renowned gospel musician Yinka Ayefele.

It was learned that the blaze broke out at the station, located around the Challenge area of the city, shortly after 8:00 p.m.

The Chairman of Oyo State Fire Services, Mr. Morouf Akinwande, confirmed the incident in Ibadan.

According to Akinwande, fire service personnel were quickly deployed to the scene and succeeded in extinguishing the flames.
He added that further information on the cause and extent of the damage would be released later.
