Gas Explosion Kills Two, Destroys Properties in Ajah Area of Lagos
A tragic gas explosion on Saturday rocked the Ajah axis of Lagos, leaving two people dead and causing widespread destruction to properties, including warehouses and roadside shops.
Eyewitnesses reported that the explosion occurred in a commercial area, sending panic through the neighborhood as a loud blast was followed by thick smoke and flames. The impact destroyed nearby structures, with several small businesses and storage facilities reduced to rubble.
Emergency responders, including officials of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency and the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, were swiftly deployed to the scene to contain the fire and prevent further damage.
