Grand Chief Imam of Oyoland Congratulates Prof. Musibau Babatunde on Oyo SSG Appointment

IBADAN — The Grand Chief Imam of Oyoland, Sheikh (Barr.) Bilal Akinola Akeugberu, has congratulated Professor Musibau Babatunde on his appointment as Secretary to the Oyo State Government (SSG) by Governor Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde.

In a statement signed by Mallam Ibrahim Agunbiade, Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the Chief Imam, Sheikh Akeugberu described the appointment as well-deserved, highlighting Professor Babatunde’s exceptional educational and intellectual capacity, as well as his qualities of humility, loyalty, diligence, and commitment to public service.

The Chief Imam noted that the appointment reflects Allah’s grace and is a recognition of Professor Babatunde’s years of integrity and dedication. He emphasized that the new SSG is now entrusted with serving the people of Oyo State at the highest administrative level.

Sheikh Akeugberu prayed for divine guidance, wisdom, and strength for Professor Babatunde to effectively discharge his duties, while also wishing that his tenure would bring peace, progress, and sustainable development to the state and the broader society.

The statement concluded with a prayer that Allah (SWT) makes Professor Babatunde’s tenure a monumental success, further affirming the spiritual and communal support for the new SSG’s leadership.
