Islamic cleric defiles 12-year-old in Ogun
Men of the Ogun state police command has arrested a 19-year-old man identified as Ridwarullahi Suleiman aka Alfa Solive, for allegedly defiling a 12-year-old girl, Kehinde Lawal.
The command’s spokesperson, SP Omolola Odutola, in a statement released said the Divisional Police Officer of Ajuwonon October 23 received a reported the sexu@l assault.
She said the victim who resides at 32 Madian Road, Matogun, Ogun State, came to the police station accompanied by her relatives to report that on October 21, 2024, at about 7:30 PM, her stepmother sent her to purchase items for the household. Omolola said the victim said that while going about the errand, she encountered the suspect who took her to his home and engaged in unlawful sexu@l acts with her.

She said the victim told the police that the accused told her not to disclose the incident to anyone. Omolola said since the incident, the victim has experienced severe bleeding and has reported excruciating abdominal pains thereafter.
The police spokesperson also mentioned that the victim also claimed that her father’s driver, a man named Ibrahim, who currently resides in Ilorin, was the first individual to have unlawful carnal knowledge of her back in 2023.
Upon receiving this information, detectives visited the location of the incident, leading to the arrest and detention of the suspect. The police PRO says the victim has been taken to a hospital for medical examination and treatment. She said investigation is ongoing, and the case will soon be transferred to the SCID in Abeokuta for further investigation.
