Lagos monarch, Onidimu of Idimu, dies @87
A Lagos monarch, Onidimu of Idimu Land, Oba Azeez Dada Aluko Olugoke, is dead
He reportedly died early Sunday morning at the age of 87.
Idimu is in the Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos State.
A statement issued on Sunday by the Chairman of Egbe Idimu LCDA, Sanyaolu Olowoopejo, said Oba Olugoke died after a brief illness.
He said that the burial rites would soon be announced by the family.
He commiserated with the royal family and the sons and daughters of Idimu town over the death of their royal father.
He described the deceased monarch as a peace loving man interested in the development of the community.
