There is tension in Imo State as Uche Nwosu, the former governorship candidate of Action Alliance (AA) in the state’s 2019 governorship election, has been abducted.
The former governorship candidate was said to have been abducted on Sunday inside St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Umunwokwe village Eziama-Obaire Nkwerre Local Government Area of Imo State by gunmen during a thanksgiving service in honour of his late mother, Jemaimah Adaeze Nwosu, who was reportedly laid to rest last Wednesday.
Nwosu is the son-in-law of Rochas Okorocha, a senator and former governor of Imo State.
