ASP ‘Too Much Money’ indicted with Kyari, blamed death of seven detainees flees, declared wanted
An Assistant Superintendent of Police, John Umoru, otherwise known as Too Much Money, is on the run and has been declared wanted contrary to an earlier report that he has been picked up by the authorities.
The Eagle Online had in the early hours of Wednesday reported that the flamboyant officer was already in custody.
This followed the arrest of the Commander of the Inspector General of Police Intelligence Response Team, Deputy Commissioner of Police Abba Kyari, with whom Umoru was accused by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency of involvement in drug deals.

While five of the IRT operatives involved in the cartel that operated at the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu, including Kyari, were arrested by the police and handed over to the NDLEA, two others, including Umoru, were declared wanted.
The security source confirmed the status of Umoru after The Eagle Online story with the headline: “How ASP ‘Too Much Money’ arrested with Kyari allegedly starved seven detainees to death — Investigator (https://t.co/iPVaUUYRfi).”
He said: “Actually the ASP mentioned in your report is still at large.
“He’s on the run and wanted.”
