Lagosians storm Tinubu’s house for Christmas gifts, money

A video has emerged showing many gift-seeking residents of Lagos and supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) waiting outside the Bourdillon, Ikoyi home of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the ruling party for the 2023 election.

POLITICS NIGERIA reports that the now-viral video which was taken on Saturday, showed people queuing to gain entrance into the residence of the former Lagos State governor.

Armed police officers could also be sighted in front of the building.

The woman who recorded the video said: “This is crazy and unbelievable. This is in front of Tinubu’s house. Look at them”.

Reacting to the 29-second clip on Monday, a spokesperson for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Council, Dino Melaye, said the APC candidate wants to weaponise poverty against the masses.

“This is the type of energization of poverty that Tinubu wants to introduce to Nigeria.

“After so much noise and lies of turning Lagos around and making Lagos the sole factor of his campaign. See Lagos,” he wrote.
