Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde
Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has expressed that he misses the leadership style of former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, adding that things are “not really the same” under President Bola Tinubu’s administration. The governor made the comments while addressing guests at a public event in Ibadan, where Osinbajo was in attendance. (thecable.ng)
Makinde recalled how Osinbajo’s consultative and pragmatic leadership influenced key policy decisions during his tenure as vice president, particularly in shaping Oyo State’s COVID‑19 response and economic measures. Contrasting this with the current federal administration, he expressed concern over the limited consultation and participatory governance under President Tinubu.
