Man caught with bloodstained female pants, Amotekun suspects rituals

A 30-year-old man, Felix Ikpeha, has been arrested by men of the Ogun State Security Network, otherwise known as the Amotekun Corps, for being in possession of three bloodstained female pants.

Ikpeha, an indigene of Warri, Delta State, was arrested in Imo-Ayo community, Ajibawo Atan-Ota, in the Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of the state.

The state Commander of the corps, David Akinremi, disclosed this in a statement on Thursday.

Akinremi said the suspect was arrested following an alarm raised by some members of the community, who suspected his movement.

He said, “When the suspect was searched, three wet bloodstained female pants were found in his possession for which he could not give any satisfactory explanation.

“He (suspect), however, claimed to have removed them from dustbins, but insisted he did not know the exact location where he picked them from.”

The corps commander explained that Ikpeha was suspected to be working for a syndicate involved in money rituals.

According to him, the suspect has been transferred to the police for further investigation and possible prosecution.

The commander also disclosed that the corps arrested eight suspected fraudsters for allegedly swindling unsuspected members of the public out of N15m.

Akinremi identified the suspects as Hadi Ibikanmi (20), Hounkpe Stephen (29), Ayinla Ibikanmi (23), Lepe Omoniyi (26), Olabisi Opeifa (29), Sulaimon Yakub (25), Samuel Ayerin (24) and Juliet Maderubami (28).

He explained that the suspects were arrested on Friday, September 30, at their hideout in Idi-Iroko, in the Ipokia LGA of the state.

According to him, the suspects defrauded their victims on the pretext of doing online business investment and facilitating admissions to a foreign university.
