Messi’s World Cup victory validates Tinubu’s ‘Emilokan’ claim – Keyamo

Festus Keyamo, the Minister of State for Labour and Employment and Director, Public Affairs and spokesperson, Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, says that Lionel Messi’s World Cup triumph on Sunday night endorses Bola Tinubu’s bid for the president in 2023.

After Messi and Argentina’s national team broke the country’s 36-year World Cup drought by defeating France 4-2 on penalties, Keyamo, in a tweet on Sunday night, stated that the game espoused the Emilokan concept.

Keyamo explained the meaning of Emilokan, saying that the phrase translates to mean that once one has given his or her all to a cause, it is only just for the person to claim the price.

“The match b/w Argentina V. France has espoused the notion of EMILOKAN which, in its proper context, means when you’ve given your all to a cause, then you can rightly lay claim to the ultimate prize. France wanted to alter that notion, but the gods ruled in favour of Lionel Messi,” Keyamo wrote.
