MURIC Congratulates Fani-Kayode, Reno Omokri on Ambassadorial Nominations
The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) has congratulated two prominent Nigerians, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode and Reno Omokri, following their nomination by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the newly released second batch of ambassadorial nominees.
The commendation was issued on Sunday, 30 November 2025, through a statement signed by MURIC’s Founder and Executive Director, Professor Ishaq Akintola.
According to the organisation, the nominations of Fani-Kayode and Omokri are “well deserved,” describing both men as courageous, objective, and patriotic Nigerians fully qualified to serve the country in ambassadorial capacities.

“Theirs are well-deserved nominations as they both share common attributes: fearlessness, objectivity and patriotism. They are proud sons of Nigeria who are eminently qualified for the job,” the statement read.
MURIC further expressed delight that the duo have, over the years, demonstrated qualities of fairness and inclusiveness, especially in their dealings across religious lines.
“We are particularly happy for them because they have both distinguished themselves as reliable and genuine Christian team players who are ready to provide places at the table for all, regardless of faith. We have no doubt that they will represent Nigeria adequately,” Professor Akintola said.
President Tinubu’s latest list of nominees is the second batch released as part of efforts to strengthen Nigeria’s diplomatic representation across the world.
MURIC’s message concluded with prayers for the nominees’ success and reaffirmed the organisation’s commitment to peaceful dialogue and national unity.
