Naira gains N1, trading N1, 600/$1 at official window

The Naira gained N1 against the American dollar at the official foreign exchange market on Friday.

Data from the Nigerian Autonomous Foreign Exchange Market ( NAFEM) showed that the local currency N1,600.00/$1, down from the N1,601.20/$1 it traded at the official window on Thursday.

The naira lost N5 against the dollar at the parallel section of the forex market to trade N1, 740/$1 as against the previous day’s N1, 735/$1.

The naira gained N10 against the British Pound to trade N2,250/£1 as against the previous N2,260\£1.

After several weeks of closing flat, the Canadian dollar still maintains N1, 300/CA$1.

The naira gained N5 against the Euro to trade ₦1,860/€1 as against the previous day’s r₦1,865/€1.
