NiMet Predicts Hazy, Sunny Weather Across Nigeria, Issues Safety Advisory
The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has warned of hazy and sunny weather conditions across Nigeria from Monday, advising residents and travellers to exercise caution due to dust haze reducing visibility in several regions.
In its latest weather outlook, NiMet noted that suspended dust particles will contribute to hazy skies, particularly in Northern and Central states, while sunshine and scattered cloud patches are expected nationwide. The agency urged people with respiratory issues, including asthma, to take precautions and monitor updates from official channels.
