Ogun Police Transfer Destiny Boy’s Corpse to SCID, Arrest Suspect
The Ogun State Police Command has transferred the corpse of popular singer Destiny Boy to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Ilaro, Ogun State, as investigations into his sudden death intensify. One suspect is currently in police custody, authorities confirmed.
Destiny Boy, known for his Afro-Fuji and contemporary music hits, died on Sunday, January 18, 2026, in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State.
