Osimhen becomes Turkish most expensive player

Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen has become the most expensive player in Turkish football history.

Galatasaray finally unveiled Osimhen on Wednesday night in front of thousands of supporters.

The 26-year-old off-season on loan from Napoli, has now signed a permanent contract with the Istanbul club.

Galatasaray had to trigger his €75 million release clause with the Serie A side to complete the transfer.

This fee makes Osimhen the costliest footballer to ever play in Turkey.

He is well ahead of Youssef En-Nesryi, who cost Fenerbahce €19.5m.

The next three players all played for Galatasaray: Gabriel Sara (€18m), Mario Jardel (€17m), and Nicolo Zaniolo (€15m).
