The Bauchi State Police Command said that the parents of Jenifer Joshua Anga, who it initially referred to as Mildred Joshua Ebuka, the 17-year-old Lagos resident found in Bauchi, have been successfully located.
This new revelation was made on the command’s Twitter handle on Saturday.
“It is with utmost gratitude to God Almighty that Bauchi State Command has located the parent of (Mildred Joshua Ebuka) not her real name, her name is Jenifer Joshua Anga and presently she will be reunited with her family in good health condition. Thank you for your patriotism,” the tweet reads.
Earlier on Saturday, Ahmed Mohammed Wakil, the Bauchi State police spokesperson, told FIJ that the command was yet to make contact with Anga’s relatives.
The police had narrated how Anga mysteriously found herself at a park in Bauchi State with no memory of how she got there.
She told the police that her aunt, whom she stays with in Victoria Island in Lagos, had sent her on an errand to deliver a wig cap to a friend in Ikorodu.
Anga could not remember anything that happened after she got on a bus going to Ikorodu.
