Police hunt for woman for allegedly killing 65-year-old in Ogun
The police in Ogun state have launched an investigation into the unfortunate de@th of a 65-year-old woman, Oladega Morenike, allegedly pushed to death during a heated argument with a female neighbor, Abigel Bankole, in their resident located on Isunba Street in Ipokia area of the state on November 21.
The son of the deceased, Ibrahim Oladega, had reported to the police that at about 4:20 PM, his mother, 65-year-old Oladega Moronike (now deceased), had an argument with a neighbor, Abigel Bankole. Ibrahim alleged that this confrontation escalated into a fight during which the deceased was pushed, causing her to hit her head against a wall and collapse.

Upon receiving the report, detectives were dispatched to the scene, where they found the victim lying on her back. A photograph was taken, and her body was transported to the General Hospital in Ipokia, where she was pronounced de@d by a doctor. The body was subsequently moved to the mortuary at General Hospital, Ilaro, for an autopsy.
The suspect fled the scene and is currently at large, with active efforts underway to apprehend her.
Confirming the incident to newsmen, the command’s spokesperson, SP Omolola Odutola, said preliminary investigations are ongoing by the police and the case will be transferred to the SCID in Abeokuta for further investigation.
