Six Lagos-based real estate marketers abducted in Ogun during land inspection

The Ogun State Police Commissioner, Lanre Ogunlowo, has confirmed the abduction of six marketers working for a Lagos-based real estate company at Oyebola village, Obafemi-Owode Local Government Area, on Friday.

Ogunlowo told our correspondent that the marketers were visiting the company’s land to gather information for potential clients when the kidnapping incident occurred. “The command has been on it since, and we shall ensure that these people regain their freedom,” he said.

A resident of a neighbouring community, speaking on condition of anonymity, had earlier alerted reporters to the attack.

The incident adds to a recent surge of abductions across Nigeria, including the kidnapping of 38 worshippers in Kwara State and 24 students in Kebbi State, all of whom have since been released.
