Super Falcons star Michelle Alozie shortlisted for 2025 FIFPRO Women’s World XI
Super Falcons defender, Michelle Alozie has been nominated for the prestigious 2025 FIFPRO Women’s World 11.
The 26-player shortlist for the global award was unveiled on Monday, with the nominees selected based on votes cast by professional football players from around the world.
Alozie’s nomination follows a phenomenal year in which she played a crucial role in Nigeria’s outstanding campaign at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco.

The Houston Dash right-back was a standout performer, scoring the winning goal in the Super Falcons’ crucial semi-final victory over South Africa. Her excellent form was recognized when she was named in the WAFCON Team of the Tournament.
She joins a list of elite defenders shortlisted for the award, including Ona Batlle, Millie Bright, Lucy Bronze, Olga Carmona, Ellie Carpenter, Alex Greenwood, and Leah Williamson.
The final FIFPRO Women’s World XI will be revealed on Monday, November 3, 2025.
