Veteran actor and lead character in Tinsel Victor Olaotan is dead.
Olaotan, who became popular for his role as Fred Ade-Williams in MNet’s popular series, Tinsel, died on Thursday after six years of ill health.
He died on the day funeral rites for his colleague, Rachael Oniga, began.
His wife, Julia, announced his death.
She said that the 69-year-old actor could finally go to rest after suffering for years.
“He has tried. It is not easy to be trapped in your own body for five years. He can finally rest now,” she said.
In 2016, Olaotan was involved in a car accident, which left him bedridden.
