Bola Ahmed Tinubu
The presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress(APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, will today continue his engagements with strategic sectors of the economy in a town hall meeting in Minna, the Niger State capital.
He will be meeting with farmers and the agro commodity groups in the state.
The economic group is noted for providing the nation’s breadbasket.
The APC standard bearer will be accompanied by his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima; the Director General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) and Plateau State Governor Simon Bako Lalong and other members of the council.
Niger State Governor Abubakar Sani Bello will host the meeting scheduled to take place at Legbo Kutigi International Conference Centre in Minna.

A statement by the APC PCC Director of Media and Publicity, Bayo Onanuga, said Asiwaju Tinubu is expected to share his agenda on how he will build on the salutary foundation laid by President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration in the Agricultural sector.
He will also tell the farmers about how he will help them and their communities “the new and significant ways that usher in a true and complete rebirth of Nigerian agriculture”.
As envisioned, the commodity board will improve price certainty for farmers and increase their capacity to produce more staple food to feed Nigeria’s burgeoning population.
The Minna town hall meeting is the second by the APC candidate, following the successful meeting he had with Nigeria’s business leaders last Tuesday in Lagos.
Similar town hall meetings are scheduled for Lafia in Nasarawa State and Calabar, the Cross River State capital, in the next few days before the mega rally in Jos on November 15.
