This came about 24 hours after Tinubu ordered the Department of State Services (DSS) to vacate the Ikoyi office of the EFCC.
The two federal agencies were embroiled in a faceoff over ownership of the Ikoyi building.
The DSS operatives had barricaded the office with an armoured vehicle and prevented EFCC officials from gaining access to the place.

Tinubu intervenes in DSS, EFCC rift over Ikoyi building ownership

Tinubu intervenes in DSS, EFCC rift over Ikoyi building ownership
President Bola Tinubu has intervened in the feud between the Department of State Services (DSS) and Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on who should occupy an Ikoyi building in Lagos.
The President ordered the DSS to immediately vacate the office of the EFCC.
The DSS laid siege to the office of the anti-graft agency on Tuesday morning and prevented EFCC officials from accessing the office.
Two Armoured Personnel Carriers were moved there to block the main entrance to the building.
The faceoff arose from a rivalry between both agencies over the ownership of the building.
Spokesman for the anti-graft agency, Wilson Uwujaren, described the development as “strange”, explaining that the two agencies had stayed together within the facility for over 20 years without any rancor.
spokesman for the DSS, Peter Afunanya, however said the property in question belonged to the service, and as such it is not correct to say its operatives barricaded EFCC office.
But in a statement on Tuesday evening, Tinubu through his spokesman, Tunde Rahman, said the issue between the agencies would be resolved amicably.
It stated, “President Bola Tinubu has directed the Department of State Security Service to immediately vacate the office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission in Ikoyi, Lagos.
“The President gave the directive when reports that DSS officials stormed the EFCC office located on Awolowo Road, Ikoyi, Lagos on Tuesday, preventing officials of the anti-graft agency from accessing their work place, was brought to his attention.
“The President said if there were issues between the two important agencies of government, they would be resolved amicably.”
