I’ll turn down suitor who doesn’t support my career – Imade Osawuru, actress
I’ll turn down suitor who doesn’t support my career – Imade Osawuru, actress
Renowned Nollywood filmmaker, Imade Osawaru, known for her captivating performances in movies like A Fool for Trust; Last Affair; and Sweet Mama’s House, has revealed her expectations from Mr. Right and what would make her reject a suitor.
A native of Ugha Okhuoihe in Edo State, Osawaru revealed that honesty, respect, and emotional maturity are non-negotiable qualities in her potential partner.
“I value honesty, respect, and emotional maturity in any relationship. A suitor who lacks these qualities, or someone who doesn’t support my career and ambitions, would definitely be a no-go for me. Mutual respect is key. Everyone has faced heartache at some point, and I’m no exception. It’s always painful, but I believe in learning from those experiences, focusing on personal growth, and moving forward with grace. Life has taught me to never let disappointment define me,” she told Saturday Sun.

When asked about her definition of fulfillment, Osawaru acknowledged that while she’s achieved significant milestones in her career and personal life, she’s always striving for more.
“I would say I’m on the journey to fulfillment. I’ve achieved a lot that I’m proud of, especially in my career and personal life, but I’m always striving for more growth, both personally and professionally. Life is about continuous improvement,” she stated.
