During Governor Adeleke’s speech, he broke into dance and song in his signature style. The First Lady approached him, telling him, “I’m giving you five minutes to finish your speech. The music is enough.” Adeleke continued, prompting Mrs. Tinubu to return and warn, “I will turn off the microphone. Stop the music.”
The brief confrontation was captured on video and has since gone viral on social media, drawing widespread attention.
Governor Adeleke, who recently resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) citing internal party crises in a letter dated November 4, 2025, is reportedly exploring a new political platform for his 2026 re-election bid. Meanwhile, Adedamola Adebayo was announced as the PDP candidate for the upcoming Osun governorship election on December 2, 2025.
