“The NECO SSCE Centre in London represents a significant milestone in our mission to provide inclusive access to education for Nigerians, regardless of location,” he said.

The announcement was made during the ‘Education Matters Conference UK 2025’, where the NECO boss delivered a keynote address to stakeholders, highlighting the council’s commitment to expanding its reach beyond Nigeria’s borders.

In a statement issued in Minna, Niger State, NECO’s Director of Information and Public Relations, Azeez Sani, said the centre would cater to Nigerian students and adult learners in the UK who, for various reasons, have been unable to complete their secondary education or obtain equivalent qualifications.

The development is expected to open new doors for academic advancement and certification for Nigerians abroad, reinforcing NECO’s role as a key player in the global education space.
