Social Media user berates Regina Daniels over marital crisis with Ned Nwoko
A social media commentator, Joey Aniegboso, has criticised Nollywood actress Regina Daniels over her ongoing marital crisis with her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, describing support for the actress as “a fool’s errand.”
In a lengthy post on his Facebook page on Sunday, Aniegboso accused the actress of being disrespectful and unwilling to accept corrections from her husband, which, according to him, led to the collapse of their marriage.
Newstrends earlier reported that the couple allegedly had a heated fallout that prompted the actress to vacate the family mansion in Abuja. Since then, both parties have traded accusations over the cause of their separation.
Senator Nwoko, who represents Delta North in the Senate, had accused his wife of using illicit substances supplied by her brother, Sammy, and some of her Nollywood colleagues, including actress Uche Montana—an allegation Regina initially denied.
However, in a recent twist, the actress admitted to using the substances but claimed she was introduced to them by her husband for his sexual gratification.

Reacting to the controversy, Aniegboso faulted Regina’s conduct, insisting that no man would tolerate a wife addicted to drugs.
“No husband would want to tolerate an addict as a wife and a mother to his children, especially when he is spending so much on her,” he wrote.
He further alleged that Nwoko “gave Regina’s life meaning” and that her social standing was largely due to her husband’s influence.
Aniegboso also advised the actress to reconcile with her husband rather than seek public sympathy, warning that her reputation could deteriorate if the feud continues.
“The way modern Nigerian women think is shameful,” he added. “Supporting Regina Daniels is the height of foolishness. She is only respected because of Ned’s status. Why are the other wives not complaining?”
The Facebook user claimed that many of those defending Regina online were either single mothers or young women in unstable marriages, arguing that older, experienced women would not support her decision.
Neither Regina Daniels nor Senator Nwoko has officially responded to Aniegboso’s remarks as of press time.
