I’ve not reconciled with Faithia, lady in viral video not my wife – KWAM1

Nigerian Fuji legend, Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as Kwam 1, has responded to recent speculations surrounding his personal life and marital status.

Rumors had circulated suggesting that the 68-year-old musician had reconciled with his estranged wife, Fathia ‘Titi Marshal’ Titilola, and that her return led to the departure of his current wife, Aderopo Emmanuella, from his home.

The speculation gained momentum following Kwam 1’s public reunion with Titi Marshal during the burial of his mother, Halima Anifowoshe, held in Ijebu, Ogun State, in January, five months before the reports surfaced.

Kwam 1 and Titi Marshal were married at his Ijebu residence in March 2018, while he tied the knot with Emmanuella on November 18, 2021, in a grand ceremony at the Palace of the Alake of Egbaland in Abeokuta.

Addressing the situation in a recent interview, the Fuji icon firmly dismissed the rumors.

“She (Emmanuella) is the only one. I told her, ‘Leave social media, concentrate on your business and let me concentrate; in the end, the joy will be for us.’ I guess maybe she didn’t like it that way. She has every right to her reaction. Unfortunately, I am not getting younger anymore. I am 68 already. Do I need to fool myself?” Kwam 1 said.

READ ALSO:

“Titi Marshall is gone forever, but because she is gone, should I shut my eyes out on the three children she gave birth to for me? I didn’t do anything; I only concentrated on my project. Emmanuella brought this upon herself because I don’t know what she is doing on social media. You are not young anymore, you have two grown-ups at the university, and the third one is about to join them. So, these are the issues we must ponder, not social media things.”

He also debunked rumours suggesting that he had taken a new wife following his claimed split from Titi Marshal.

Kwam 1 clarified that claims linking a woman seen dancing to his performance in a viral video to a new marriage were entirely untrue and misleading.

The Fuji icon expressed sympathy for the woman in the video, stating that he could only imagine how embarrassed and uncomfortable she must have felt being falsely identified as his wife.

He added that such unfounded gossip was unfair and damaging.

“Must I marry everyone? The lady is not my wife, and I have not married a new wife. That is it. Stella, I don’t have anything to add. I am into farming; I have farms, which take up my time. I don’t have time for social media squabbling regarding women or something. No, I can’t lie to you. And I promise you I will not speak to anyone else about this,” he added.

“I don’t have any intentions. What is ahead of me is more than marriage, marriage, marriage! I will send you some of the projects I am doing here. They are huge and take up 90 per cent of my funds. I am now into big business, aside from music. I am getting old. 68? So you can’t say you will be there forever. Don’t you consider what I am saying?”

I regret supporting Tinubu – Nollywood actress

I regret supporting Tinubu – Nollywood actress

Nollywood actress Bukky Raji, popularly known as Aminatu Papapa, has publicly apologized for supporting President Bola Tinubu during the 2023 general election, saying her decision was driven by misplaced trust and personal business interests.

In a now-viral interview with Oyinmomo TV on YouTube, Raji said she deeply regrets campaigning for Tinubu and pleaded with Nigerians, especially those facing hardship, to forgive her.

Her words: “What I regret in my life is that they said they wanted to renew hope.

“I use this moment to beg Nigerians, those I love, that love me and don’t love me… don’t be angry.”

Raji, whose rice distribution business was impacted by border closures under former president Muhammadu Buhari, said she supported Tinubu believing he would reopen the borders and revive trade.

“I began this business with 20 bags of rice, then I became someone that was offloading trailers.

“When Jagaban gets into office, I thought things would be better. But now, it’s all of us that are suffering — both those who campaigned and those who didn’t,” she said.

She clarified that her apology was not prompted by online backlash but by personal reflection.

“It’s not because people bashed me on my page but because I sat down and reflected… Oh God, I’ve made a mistake,” she stated.

The actress also stated that her support for Tinubu was not financially motivated, claiming she received no payment for her campaign efforts.

According to her, internal wrangling and greed among industry colleagues prevented the fair distribution of campaign funds.

She said: “I can boldly say I did not receive a dime. We were told to share the money equally but some disagreed… that was the genesis of the disunity.”

Raji said although Tinubu made promises during campaign meetings, none had materialized.

“These people told us they were going to work. It is still the same as yesterday,” she lamented.

She also referenced her past online clash with fellow actress Adunni Ade, who had mocked celebrities for campaigning for “a meager N90,000.”

In a now-deleted video, Raji had responded fiercely, insisting her support for Tinubu was rooted in loyalty, not money.

“Did they tell you we went there because of money? Or the love we have for Asiwaju?” she had fumed.

Now, with the economy biting hard, Raji says she recognizes the pain felt by ordinary Nigerians and admits that her support helped promote a mandate that has not been delivered.

“The masses are hungry. Don’t be angry, I’ve offended you. That’s my regret in life,” she concluded.
