Tinubu Is Well, Türkiye State Visit On Course — Presidency Assures Nigerians
The Presidency has assured Nigerians that President Bola Tinubu is in good health and that his state visit to Türkiye is proceeding as scheduled, dismissing speculations and online rumours about his wellbeing.
In a statement released on Tuesday, presidential aides clarified that the President only briefly stumbled during a public engagement in Ankara but did not suffer any health complications. They stressed that Tinubu has continued to carry out all planned activities lined up for the Nigeria–Türkiye state visit.
According to the Presidency, President Tinubu has already participated in official receptions and bilateral meetings with Turkish government officials, with discussions focused on strengthening cooperation in trade, defence, energy, infrastructure, and investment.
